Edie Wittenmyer
I am the owner of White Stallion Creations and it would not have been possible without the encouragement and support of my husband, Bob.
The studio was renovated by my entire family in 2001 when the building was purchased. A new ceiling, a solid hickory floor and the sandstone fireplace make the environment very friendly and warm for customers and for me to create and design.
I started sewing at a very young age with the guidance of my mother and grandmother. I have always been creative, always thinking of new apparel and accessories to design and sew.
I am a graduate of Indiana State University - College of Technology with a Masters degree in Computer Technology. For almost 23 years I was a Computer Engineer for a well-known pharmaceutical company.
The education and experience I achieved through college and employment provided me with the opportunity to utilized my talents and skills in computerized machine embroidery. I am an instructor at Indiana State University teaching Textiles & Clothing Construction Techniques. I am an instructor at the International Embroidery & Quilting Conference (IEC) at Evansville, Indiana in July 2011 and an instructor for IFT, It's Fashion Time, at Indianapolis, Indiana in June. I offer classes/workshops throughout the year at White Stallion Creations studio (be sure to visit the webpage for upcoming "event/workshop").
I am a published author of 'The Equestrian Devotional' and 'The Equestrian Journal'.
